14.05.2022

Let’s hear it for the weekend! It’s a busy one in our house – with a family wedding and my youngest turning 3 years old! Last week I blogged about some of our favourite kids birthday party locations, if you haven’t checked it out yet you can read it HERE. And now here is what is going on in and around Vancouver on the weekend of May 14 and 15.

The observatory will also be open so you can check out the Moon up close through the telescope, and there will be time to explore the exhibits in the Cosmic Courtyard.

This month’s River Basin Days workshop is being offered for free, as it is part of the City of Surrey’s Environmental Extravaganza. No experience necessary; the educators will guide you through some simple exercises that are sure to help you craft a poem you’ll be proud of. This workshop is aimed at older children.
