Celebrate the fall season at VanDusen Botanical Garden with Harvest Days! The veggie garden and maze area will be transformed for fall with fun photo areas, activities and entertainment, tasty treats and more. Visitors of all ages are welcome. Book a time slot online in advance.

FIN-TASTIC FALL DAYS

THE BUTTERFLY RUN
Saturday 10 am, Olympic Village Plaza, Vancouver
This one is a cause close to my heart. My family will be running and walking in the 5 km Butterfly Run around False Creek. It is a family event that raises money for BC Women’s Hospital and is in support of those who have been affected by infertility, pregnancy and infant loss. We run for my son Lachlan.
WORLD MARITIME DAY AT THE PORT OF VANCOUVER
Saturday 12 pm – 5 pm, Canada Place
A live event hosted on the North Point of Canada Place, with exhibitors along the west promenade. Join for live music and other performances, and fun activities that celebrate life in a port city.
HOWL OVER CANADA

A breathtaking 8 minute flight that takes you along with Biker Mama the Witch on A Spirited Halloween Ride for the whole family. HowlOver Canada lets you soar through the skies with a band of spooky sidekicks on your way to a music festival that’s out of this world.
GIRLS FLY TOO!
Saturday and Sunday 9 am – 5:30 pm, Abbotsford International Airport
Everyone is welcome regardless of age, gender or citizenship and no registration is required to participate. The event is completely free to ensure there are no barriers to participation. Girls Fly Too aims to encourage and inspire girls through hands-on activities and displays. Participants will have the opportunity to engage with aircraft and equipment, complete a treasure map passport and meet with a NASA astronaut.
