LUMIERE FESTIVAL

Saturday & Sunday 5 pm – 9:30 pm, Various venues in Vancouver

BEAR CREEK LIGHTS

Saturday & Sunday 4:30 pm-9:30 pm, Bear Creek Park, 13750 88 Ave, Surrey

Bear Creek Park is one of the City’s most vibrant parks. Hidden within it is one of the lower mainland’s finest year-round show gardens which sets the stage for Bear Creek Lights. See nature shine with a series of beautiful light displays that will dazzle you with illuminated natural landscapes, whimsically lit creatures and stunning photo opportunities. Enjoy the safe, accessible, family-friendly light display through the park’s one-kilometer garden walking loop. Food trucks will be onsite nightly. Free admission. Entry every 30 minutes.

BLIPPI: JOIN THE BAND TOUR

Sunday 2 pm and 6 pm, The Queen Elizabeth Theatre

Are your kids a fan of Blip? If so, you can join Blippi to make music in the brand new live Blippi: Join the Band Tour! Blippi will be joined onstage by Meekah, their singing and dancing buddies and LIVE musicians to explore what makes music, including sounds, rhythms and instruments, through all your favorite Blippi hits.

CIRQUE DU SOLEIL’S ECHO

3 shows Saturday and 2 on Sunday, Concord Pacific Place, Vancouver

Head to the big top to enjoy Cirque du Soleil’s Echo – a spectacular performance combining poetry, stagecraft, daring acrobatics, and technology explores the delicate balance between people, animals, and the world we all share.

UBC VOLLEYBALL VS TRINITY WESTERN

Saturday 6 pm, War Memorial Gym, UBC

Two of the top volleyball teams in Canada will go head to head this weekend when the UBC Thunderbirds host the TWU Spartans. Head out to War Memorial Gym for a lot of spectator fun! And it is free admission for kids 12 and under.

REMEMBRANCE DAY CEREMONIES

This weekend is a long weekend due to Remembrance Day Monday. There are more than two dozen ceremonies and parades taking place all around the lower mainland to mark the occasion. Check out this link here to see the event nearest you.
