This free, annual family-friendly festival offers a weekend filled with mouthwatering Taiwanese street food, multicultural performances, and engaging games and activities. Now in its 14th year, the event has evolved into a full-fledged street festival, with Smith Avenue closed off to host a vibrant marketplace of local artisans and community partners.

Head to a galaxy not so far away to celebrate May the Fourth Be With You at the HR MacMillan Space Centre! It’s a family-friendly filled with sci-fi fun, galactic art, and space science. Come dressed as your favourite character from the galaxy’s Rebels or Empire and snap a photo with members of the 501st Legion Outer Rim Garrison—featuring Stormtroopers, Darth Vader, and more!
FINGERLING FESTIVAL

This iconic environmental festival is the largest of its kind in the Lower Mainland, and provides an opportunity for children (and adults!) to help release thousands of young chum salmon into Noons Creek to help these fish begin their four-year journey at sea.
KONINGSDAG KING’S DAY

A Dutch celebration that everyone is invited to. Enjoy traditional Dutch entertainment for the young and young at heart, plus an awe-inspiring market by Dutch Network featuring Dutch and Dutch connected vendors at the Shipbuilders’ Square. BUDDY AND FRIENDS CHILDREN’S FESTIVAL

The ‘Buddy & Friends Children’s Festival’, is a brand new event where you can meet Buddy and enjoy a weekend full of music, entertainment and train riding fun. The BC-21 Budd Rail Diesel car will be operating for you to enjoy riding a real train. The Mini-Rail Train will take you on a 20 minute journey around the Museum grounds.
UBC BASEBALL HOSTS CASCADE CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP
Saturday-Sunday, Tourmaline West Stadium, UBC Campus
For the first time in 15 years, the UBC Baseball team is hosting the conference championship. It is a five team, double elimination tournament that will feature some of the best college baseball teams. It should be a very fun, family event for any and all baseball fans!
