The best women’s volleyball teams in Canada are descending on Vancouver as UBC hosts the National Championships for the first time in 40 years. Games are at 1 pm, 3 pm, 6 pm and 8 pm on Saturday. Sunday has the bronze medal game at 2 pm and gold at 4:30 pm.

A DINOSAUR TALE

A live action fantasy adventure for the whole family. A mysterious time-warping wormhole has brought the dinosaurs back into our world and it’s up to Lisa and Declan, a pair of intrepid eighth graders, to send the creatures home before the school field trip is over.

CELEBRATIONS OF SPRING

At this free event you can learn about these traditions through a powerpoint featuring beautiful images, song, and poetry combined with historical information from across the globe. SPRING SAFARMI STROLL
Sunday 11 am – 3 pm, Eagle Acres Farm, Langley
Wander around the outside animals, chatter with the chickens, stroll through the barns to visit over 200 animals of 9 different common farm animal types. You and your family can try your hand at feeding the cows and then enjoy a covered hayride around the pumpkin and corn fields!
SEA TO SKY MODEL TRAIN AND HOBBY SHOW
Saturday & Sunday 10 am – 4 pm, Railway Museum of BC, Squamish
This train show event is for model railroaders, hobbyists and families to enjoy in the Museum CN Roundhouse and Car Shop exhibit spaces. You’ll be surrounded by trains of all sizes, including the famous Royal Hudson #2860 and other historic steam locomotives, cabooses and luxury passenger cars.
