There is a new show at the Fly Over Canada ride and it is running now for the Lunar New Year celebration. Taiwan is simply spectacular — especially when seen from above. If you haven’t had a chance to check out the gorgeous lights throughout the tree top Capilano Park, then this weekend could be a fabulous time to visit. There are only two more weekends left until it’s over for this season.

LIGHTS AT LAFARGE

Saturday and Sunday, 5: 30 pm – midnight, LaFarge Lake, Coquitlam

This holiday light display is only on for a few more weekends. If you haven’t checked it out yet I highly recommend walking around LaFarge Lake. It is the Mainland’s largest free outdoor lights display.

GO SKATING OUTDOORS

Another good weekend to try out one of the Lower Mainland’s lovely, free outdoor skating rinks. There is Robson Square in Downtown Vancouver, and the Shipyards Rink in North Vancouver.
