ANNUAL VANCOUVER CHINATOWN SPRING FESTIVAL PARADE
Sunday 11 am – 2 pm, Chinatown, Vancouver
This wonderful parade to celebrate Lunar New Year features a 1.3-km long route starting at the Millennium Gate on Pender Street (between Shanghai Alley and Taylor Street), proceeding east along Pender Street, turning south onto Gore Street, then west onto Keefer Street and then disperses on Keefer Street and Carrall Street. On, rain or shine!
LUNAR NEW YEAR 2025: YEAR OF THE SNAKE

This year, embrace the Year of the Snake with a family-friendly day full of joy, unique performances, cultural demonstrations, delicious food and community spirit. The Garden will be adorned with stunning red lanterns, symbolizing good fortune and prosperity, creating the perfect backdrop for this special occasion.
LUNARFEST VANCOUVER

Challenge your creativity with our snake-inspired crafts and learn some fun snake facts. Browse through the artist market for the perfect new year gift. Play a few games with us and have a taste of New Year snacks. Bring friends and family, and start the year with joy!
YEAR OF THE SNAKE AT THE MUSEUM

Join for a weekend full of fun activities, storytelling, crafts, treats, and more with your family and friends! On both days, drop-in for free Chinese New Year treat sampling, Year of the Snake-themed crafts, and Chinese board games. On Saturday, February 1st, join us for a special Lunar New Year Cantonese storytime; and on Sunday, February 2nd, after the Chinatown Parade, celebrate at the museum with some artisanal ice cream and balloon art!

Capilano Suspension Bridge is getting a love-inspired light make-over. Walk through the park as it shimmers with millions of twinkling lights, enjoy great photo-perfect moments, live music and yummy treats too.
