SAKURA DAYS JAPAN FAIR

Saturday 10 am – 6 pm & Sunday 10 am – 5 pm, Van Dusen Gardens

Sakura Days Japan Fair is a family-friendly, two-day Japanese festival showcasing Japanese cultural and performing arts, cuisine and business while celebrating spring and the ephemeral beauty of the cherry blossom. Most activities will take place out of doors, with selected vendors, tea ceremony, and experiences to take place indoors. Look forward to taiko drumming, theatre performances, woodworking demonstrations, and a renewed Japanese Garden display.

SWEET SPRING AT GREENDALE ACRES

Saturday 10 am – 7 pm & Sunday 10 am – 5 pm, Greendale Acres Farm, Chilliwack

A family-friendly spring flower and baby animal festival at a farm in Chilliwack. Saturday also features a plant swap where you can trade plants seeds and gardening tips with other guests.

ABBOTSFORD TULIP FESTIVAL

Saturday & Sunday 8 am – dark, Lakeland Flowers, 39171 No 4 Road, Abbotsford

Lakeland Flowers is sharing a time-honoured Dutch tradition spanning 27 acres in the heart of the Fraser Valley. With 5 kms of tulip-lined pathways, you will have the opportunity to walk among 70+ varieties of tulips, blooming in all different colours, shapes, and sizes.

RICHMOND CARNIVAL

Saturday & Sunday 12 pm – 10 pm, Lansdowne Centre, Richmond

West Coast Amusements has rides for all ages and all levels of riding. There are over 100 rides to choose from, and your all-day wristband will let you ride all of them (if you can).

THE VANCOUVER CANADIANS OPENING WEEKEND

Saturday 1 pm, Sunday 1 pm, Nat Bailey Stadium, Vancouver

We love going to watch baseball games at the Nat! Such a fun family event. The season kicks off this week for the Vancouver Canadians. They will play the Hillsboro Hops on Saturday and Sunday. Sunday is “Family Fun Sunday” where kids get to run the bases after the game.

MÉTIS: CHILDREN OF THE FUR TRADE EVENT

Saturday 12 pm – 4 pm, Museum of Surrey

Come and dive deep into the heart of Métis heritage with stories, performances, and culture.

CLASSICAL KIDS LIVE!

Sunday 2 pm, The Orpheum Theatre

Saint-Georges’ Sword and Bow is a new Classical Kids Live! concert that is sure to delight, excite, and inspire you to dream big.
