HALLOWEEKEND ON THE RIVER

Saturday & Sunday 10 am – 4 pm, Fraser River Discovery Centre, New Westminster

Identify invasive species through games and activities, get microscopic with mold as you dive into decomposition, compare costumes with George the Sturgeon and snap a pic at the costume selfie stations.

DUNBAR VILLAGE TRICK OR TREAT

Saturday 3 pm – 5 pm, Dunbar Village, Vancouver

Trick or treat at all the businesses along Dunbar for a non-frightening Halloween event.

KIDS AND PETS TRICK OR TREAT ON BROADWAY

Saturday 1 pm – 4 pm, on Broadway from Collingwood to Larch

An afternoon of treats, photo booth fun and sweet prizes all along West Broadway.

BOO-SEUM HALLOWEEN PARTY AT MUSEUM OF SURREY

Saturday 1 pm – 4 pm, Museum of Surrey

Dress up in costume and come and have fun! Enjoy a magic show by Merlin the Magician, historical spooky stories, Halloween crafts and scavenger hunt, Costume parade and contest.

GREAT GRAND BOULEVARD PUMPKIN WALK

Saturday 4 pm – 7 pm, Grand Boulevard, North Vancouver

This free, family friendly event will feature over 200 jack-o-lanterns, live music, free hot cocoa, food trucks, performance artists and more.

TIM BURTON’S NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS IN CONCERT

Saturday 8 pm, The Orpheum

Tim Burton’s masterpiece about Jack Skellington shown to a symphony orchestra.

PARADE OF LOST SOULS

Saturday 6:30 pm, Britannia Library, Vancouver

Vancouver’s Parade of Lost Souls involves folks in Halloween costumes walking around, listening to music, enjoying live entertainment and having a good time. There is a “parade of little souls” that starts at 6:30 pm, beginning at Britannia Library.

HAUNTED VILLAGE

Saturday & Sunday 5 pm – 9 pmBurnaby Village Museum

Explore the museum as stories are lifted from their storybook pages and transformed into visual displays throughout the 10 acre open air site.

CANYON FRIGHTS

Saturday & Sunday 10 am – 8 pm, Capilano Suspension Bridge 

The spirits of the past come to life as they enjoy a Halloween gathering reminiscent of a Victorian ‘Fall Fair’. The Park, illuminated for the occasion, sets the perfect atmosphere as the festivities take an unexpected twist revealing a turn of ghostly events in the rainforest.

BOO AT THE ZOO

Saturday & Sunday 10 am – 3 pm, Greater Vancouver Zoo

Featuring fun educational games and activities, plus a themed train, fall photo op and more. Get in the spirit and come in costume!

HALLOWEEN ON ICE

Sunday 5:30 pm – 7 pm, Kerrisdale Arena

Free skating and skate rentals, come in costume!

HALLOWEEN AT THE SHIPYARDS

Sunday 1 pm – 5 pm, The Shipyards Commons, North Vancouver

Workshops by the Vancouver Circus School, Face painting, Halloween crafts and treats, hot chocolate, popcorn and cotton candy.

HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR

Sunday 9 am – 1 pm, Coquitlam Farmers Market

Join for spooky fun! Come to the market in your costume for some Halloween games, crafts and treats. Kids can trick or treat at the vendors.

HALLOWEENIE

Sunday 11 am – 2pm, Granville Island Kids Market

Spooky selfie photo booth and trick or treating throughout the Kids Market.

GHOULISHLY FUN HALLOWEEN

Sunday 1 pm – 4 pm, Aberdeen Centre, Richmond

Balloon twisting, mini games, face painting, airbrush tattoos, Halloween stories, Halloween magic and a pop up theatre.

SKATE CANADA INTERNATIONAL 2023

Saturday & Sunday, Doug Mitchell Arena, UBC

Skate Canada International is where skaters/teams can be assigned to a maximum of two events, and the top six from each discipline qualify for the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final in Beijing.
