VANCOUVER CHINATOWN SPRING FESTIVAL PARADE
Sunday 11 am – 2 pm, Chinatown, Vancouver
This parade goes rain or shine and is making a comeback for the first time since the start of the pandemic. It features the largest assembly of traditional lion dance teams in Canada with dozens of colourful and energetic lions from various local fraternal and martial arts organizations. The parade starts at at the Millennium Gate on Pender Street.

VIVE LE VOYAGEURS FRENCH-CANADIAN FESTIVAL

This annual French-Canadian winter festival provides interactive cultural experiences and so much more. Enliven your senses with the traditional foods, music and culture of the 19th-century French-Canadian and Métis fur traders. Free admission for youth aged 17 and under.

DISCOVERY DAY

Bring the whole family to experience mineral exploration and mining in a hands-on, interactive day of learning. Discovery Day is free, family-friendly and fun! This is hands-on, interactive earth science activity day for kids and families featuring gold panning, samples of rocks, minerals and fossils you can touch, and more!
RIVER BASIN DAYS: CAMPBELL VALLEY REGIONAL PARK
Saturday 12:30 pm – 3 pm, Campbell Valley Regional Park, Langley
From either 12:30-1:30pm or2:00-3:00pm, you can join up to explore nature, and use all five senses to connect with nature. In this workshop, you will use your sense of sight, hearing, touch, smell, and even taste, to learn more about nature! There will be 5 super fun activities, each designed to highlight one of the senses.
HOT CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL
Saturday and Sunday, various locations
It’s the second weekend off this very yummy festival! The Hot Chocolate Festival runs until February 14. There are more than 95 vendors and 143 unique concoctions on offer. It’s a fun thing to try out with the kids. Check out the map of what’s going on and where.
FROZEN IN CONCERT

The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra presents Frozen in Concert. Experience Disney’s Frozen like never before! Watch the magic unfold on the big screen as the VSO performs the catchy, Academy Award-winning score live. There is still limited ticket availability.

TREASURE HUNT AT GRANVILLE ISLAND

Join for Kids Market’s customer appreciation day treasure hunt. Visit their table on the main floor to collect the treasure hunt clues, finish the hunt to be entered to win one of TWO Nintendo prize packs. All who finish the hunt get a delicious bag of candy.
