PNE FAIR

Saturday & Sunday, 11 am – 11 pm, PNE Fairgrounds

It is the second weekend of the PNE Fair and it looking like a good one! Bring your friends and family out to our various attractions and entertainment including The SuperDogs, Dueling Pianos, agriculture displays, the drag show For the Love of Drag, cooking demonstrations, musical performances at Music in the Park, exhibits, and, of course, Summer Night Concerts!

NEW WESTMINSTER FAREWELL TO SUMMER FIREWORKS

Saturday 3 pm – 9:30 pm, New Westminster Quay

Hyack Festival Association is sending summer off in style, so join us at the New Westminster Quay for a spectacular day filled with artisan market vendors & exhibitors, live entertainment, fantastic food, and the piece de resistance: a Fireworks extraordinaire to captivate thousands of enchanted onlookers.

DUNBAR MUSIC IN THE PARK

Saturday 11 am – 2 pm, Dunbar Community Centre, Vancouver

A free community event featuring live entertainment, BBQ, face painting, balloon artist, crafts and a bouncy castle.

GRANVILLE BLOCK PARTY

Saturday & Sunday 1 pm – 7 pm, Granville and Robson intersection, Vancouver

Downtown Van proudly presents the third annual Granville Block Party, a free, family-friendly, two-day street festival in the heart of the Granville Entertainment District. The event brings together live music, market vendors, kid-friendly fun, and the local businesses that make Granville Street a vibrant destination year-round.

RICHMOND MARITIME FESTIVAL

Saturday & Sunday 11 am – 6 pm, Britannia Shipyards, Richmond

This beloved, free nautical-themed event will offer visitors a chance to engage in the rich maritime legacy of Steveston through fun activities, live music, puppet shows, art exhibitions, and more. This year’s edition will feature its largest music stage ever, more than 15 food trucks, DIY crafts, and the return of the Knitting Tree.

RICHMOND SUNFLOWER FESTIVAL

Saturday & Sunday 10 am – 7 pm, Richmond Country Farms, 12900 Steveston Hwy, Richmond

The annual Richmond Sunflower Festival features over 20 sunflower varieties, from towering giants to ornamental favourites, the festival offers a vibrant and joyful outdoor experience for all ages, running until mid-September. Guests can stroll through expansive walking paths designed for easy exploration, discover charming photo spots throughout the fields, and enjoy the scenery without the crowds. Beyond the blooms, the festival showcases a curated selection of local food trucks and vendors offering cold drinks, sweet treats, and picnic-ready meals. SALMON SESSIONS MUSIC FESTIVAL

Saturday 3 pm – 11 pm, Semiahmoo Fish & Game Club, 1284-184 St., Surrey

The Salmon Sessions Music Festival is a summer fundraiser for the Little Campbell Salmon Hatchery. It features live music, a beverage garden and more.

DAY OF THE DOG

Sunday 11 am – 4 pm, Yaletown, 1100 Mainland St, Vancouver

West Coast’s largest outdoor pet festival, Day of the Dog is the most fun you can have with your dog all summer! This FREE and pet-friendly festival is the most fun you’ll have with your pet all summer. Bring your pet to sample treats, food, accessories, toys, and get hooked up with loads of free swag!

OVAL COMMUNITY DAY

Sunday 10 am – 3 pm, Richmond Olympic Oval

Celebrate with free admission, sports demos, try-it sessions, selfie stations, prizes, kids’ activities, and tasty BBQ eats. Brought to you by the Richmond Olympic Oval, it’s a full day of fitness, fun, and community!

FESTIVAL OF INDIA

Sunday 11 am – 5 pm, Creekside Park, Vancouver

Join for an unforgettable celebration of culture, color, and community! Watch a vibrant, hand-pulled chariot parade wind through the streets, set to the rhythm of live Kirtan, dancing, and joyous chanting. Enjoy a kids and teen zone packed with fun activities.

VANCOUVER CANADIANS

Experience the thrill of live baseball with the Vancouver Canadians, Minor League team and the High-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays. Saturday’s game finishes with a fireworks display! And after Sunday’s game, kids can come down to the field and run the bases

UBC THUNDERBIRD SOCCER VS TWU SPARTANS

Saturday 5 pm and 7:30 pm, Thunderbird Stadium, UBC

The UBC Thunderbirds are kicking off a new season, and the national champion soccer teams have a double header this Saturday as they take on the TWU Spartans.
