The PNE Fair is back and it kicks off this weekend! Bring your friends and family out to our various attractions and entertainment including The SuperDogs, Dueling Pianos, agriculture displays, the drag show For the Love of Drag, cooking demonstrations, musical performances at Music in the Park, exhibits, and, of course, Summer Night Concerts!
RICHMOND GARLIC FEST
Saturday 10 am – 3 pm, Terra Nova Rural Park, Richmond
From garlic ice cream to roasted garlic, from braided garlic-stalk headbands to hundreds of pounds of garlic for sale, the Annual Richmond Garlic Fest is a must-see event for the entire family.
Spend the day enjoying live music, shopping for local goods and produce, observing raptor demonstrations, playing in our celebrated kid’s zone, savouring delicious foods and taking part in various free workshops, on topics such as sustainable farming practices, native bees, native plants, local birds and how to grow your own garlic.
LIGHT UP CHINATOWN!

Light Up Chinatown! returns this year with an exciting lineup of food, entertainment, and cultural activities to celebrate the vibrancy of Vancouver’s Chinatown. Presented by RBC, Light Up Chinatown! is a free two-day festival that features live entertainment. There will also be a dedicated kids’ zone, cultural performances, interactive activities for all ages, and specialty programming at the Chinatown Storytelling Centre.
WATER LANTERN FESTIVAL
Saturday 5:30 pm – 9:30 pm, Town Centre Park, Coquitlam
Water Lantern Festival is a community event that encourages people of all ages and backgrounds to come together for a night of love and laughter. Gather with your loved ones, reflect on your life, and connect with new friends. As the sun sets, release your personalized lantern onto the water and watch it illuminate the night. Enjoy food trucks, live music, vendors, a scavenger hunt, and the lantern launch.
RIBFEST LANGLEY
Saturday & Sunday 11 am – 8 pm, McLeod Park, Langley
Ribfest Langley is a free family-friendly Metro Vancouver festival that’s hosted by area Rotary clubs and features live music, BBQ-ed ribs and craft beer. In addition to barbecued ribs, other foods for sale included vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, as well as fried potatoes, mini doughnuts, ice cream, corn on the cob and berry pies.
