The family-friendly spectacular Opening Ceremony will kick off the Games with an energizing showcase of recording artists and 500+ performers honoring the competitors’ inspiring journey of recovery through the power of sport. Capilano Suspension Bridge is getting a love-inspired light make-over. Walk through the park as it shimmers with millions of twinkling lights, enjoy great photo-perfect moments, live music and yummy treats too.

LUNAR NEW YEAR AT MUSEUM OF SURREY

In partnership with Chinese Village Club, this free event offers an excellent opportunity to learn more about Lunar New Year as well as the Chinese, Korean, and Vietnamese cultures. Activities include live performances, dragon dance teaching, poetry performances, traditional and modern dance, tai chi performances, storytelling and more.
