A free two-day outdoor festival to welcome back friends and visitors to this iconic neighbourhood. Last year there were over 8,000 visitors back to Chinatown, and this year Light Up Chinatown! will be a celebratory weekend of live entertainment, restaurant tastings, food trucks, lights and lanterns, family-friendly activities … and more!
FINAL WEEKEND OF RICHMOND SUNFLOWER FESTIVAL

The final weekend for this gorgeous flower festival. Enjoy fields of sunflowers and dahlias with so many photo worthy moments everyone will enjoy.
COMMERCIAL DRIVE CAR FREE DAY
Saturday 12 pm – 7 pm, Commercial Drive, Vancouver
The festival stretches across 15 blocks featuring amazing local artisans, musicians, community activities, delicious food, tons of entertainment and activities for all ages. As the place that Car Free Day began, Commercial Drive stays true to its grassroots beginnings and the story behind the festival.
CAR FREE DAY PORT COQUITLAM
Sunday 12 pm – 8 pm, McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam
Join this fun street fest with live entertainment, family-friendly activities and games, great local food and beverages, community booths, electric vehicle displays, and more.
KERRISDALE DAYS
Saturday 11 am – 4 pm, Kerrisdale Village, West 41st ave
Sidewalk sales, live music, face painting plus free horse and carriage rides from 11 am – 4 pm. Get a slice of free cake while it lasts at 3 pm at the Pop Up Kerrisdale Plaza on Yew St and 41st ave.
WILLOUGHBY DAYZ
Saturday 11 am – 3 pm, Willoughby Town Centre, Langley
Bring the whole family for a day full of entertainment, excitement and surprises. Enjoy performances by the Mudo Demonstration Team, magic shows, balloon twisting creations, crazy hair designs, face painting and more.
COMMUNITY GARDEN AND BACK TO SCHOOL PARTY
Saturday 4 pm – 6 pm, St John the Apostle, 2208 St John St, Port Moody
Free admission and everyone is welcome! Live music, hot dogs, cookies, popsicles, face painting and rock painting and a golf clinic for kids.
PARKGATE COMMUNITY DAY
Saturday 10 am – 2 pm, Plaza at the Parkgate Community Centre, North Vancouver
Community Day will feature live performances including two puppet shows, BBQ, games and activities, bike decorating, cotton candy and more.
VANCOUVER REPTILE EXPO
Saturday & Sunday 10 am – 5 pm, South Delta Recreation Centre
Reptiles, Amphibians, Arachnids and more. If this is something you and your kids are into (not for me thank you very much) you can expect to see a wide array of reptile breeders and suppliers.
JAPAN MARKET FALL FAIR
