PUMPKIN PATCH FUN

RIVERFEST

Saturday & Sunday 10 am – 4 pm, Fraser River Discovery Centre, New Westminster

A free family-friendly festival put on by the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority. On Saturday, stroll down the boardwalk to enjoy live performances, the exhibitor expo and market, and the Lucille Johnstone Workboat Parade. Sunday features guided walks in different locations along the river.

MONSTER JAM

Saturday & Sunday, three showtimes, Pacific Coliseum

Enjoy big-time family fun at Monster Jam®, where the world’s best drivers and their 12,000-pound monster trucks tear up the dirt in intense competitions of speed and skill. Witness crazy skills and all-out racing in fierce head-to-head battles for the Event Championship.

FIN-TASTIC FALL DAYS

Saturday & Sunday, the Vancouver Aquarium

Immerse yourself in fall like like the hands-on Shipwreck Wet Lab experience and connect with curious creatures during the fall animal programs. From underwater pumpkin carvings, bat talks, a new rescued sea otter pup nursery and more.

COCO IN CONCERT

Saturday 7 pm & Sunday 2 pm, The Orpheum

Movie nights with the VSO, watch Disney’s Coco (such a great movie) and enjoy the music played by a live symphony orchestra!

CRANBERRY PLUNGE AND HARVEST TOUR

Saturday 10:30 am – 4 pm, Riverside Cranberry Farm, 26885 88 Avenue, Langley City

Visit Riverside Cranberries for a self-guided tour of the cranberry bog during the Fall harvest season. Activities include the Harvest Walk, photo ops, add-on to take the cranberry plunge!

WOMEN’S RUGBY CANADA VS FRANCE

Sunday 3:45 pm kickoff, BC Place

Vancouver is hosting the top six women’s rugby teams in the world starting this weekend! A total of nine matches featuring Canada, England, France, Ireland, New Zealand and the United States will be played over three consecutive weekends in September and October, with the 2025 Rugby World Cup on the horizon.

TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION AT FORT LANGLEY

Saturday 10 am – 5 pm, Fort Langley National Historic Site

Attend a presentation by Len Pierre, from the Len Pierre Consulting, an Indigenous Leadership, Innovation, & Transformation Consulting Group; visit the Métis Nation BC exhibit in the Big House; watch Indigenous videos in the theatre; and make an Orange Shirt Day button.

NATIONAL DAY FOR TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION MAPLE RIDGE

Sunday 10 am – 3 pm, Memorial Peace Park, Maple Ridge

The theme is “Acknowledging Indigenous Resilience” and is being planned by a large group of local organizations. Activities include an opening march, Indigenous guest speakers, dancers and drummers, the creation of a community art piece and more.
