CANYON FRIGHTS

Saturday and Sunday, 10 am – 8 pm, Capilano Suspension Bridge

Decorated with festive pumpkins and spooky displays, the Park is the place to be to celebrate the autumn season and revel in the frightful fun of Halloween. Kids of all ages can join in Halloween-themed games or complete the Canyon Frights Scavenger Hunt to win prizes! Explore the Park, take Instagram-worthy photos and visit the beautiful birds of Raptors Ridge. And if you buy a year membership, it will be good to visit again for the Canyon Christmas lights too!

EERIE ILLUSIONS

Saturday and Sunday, 5:30 pm – 10:30 pm, Burnaby Village Museum

This self-guided family friendly Halloween experience is suitable for all ages. Visitors are encouraged to come in costume and explore Burnaby Village Museum’s 10 acre venue. Utilizing state-of-the-art lighting, projections, soundscapes and special effects, Eerie Illusions will thrill and amaze.

HALLOWEEN HOOT

Saturday and Sunday, 10 am – 4 pm, Richmond Nature Park

Halloween decorations take over the pond trail for a fang-tastic good time. Swoop in on opening day for spooky sketches with local artist Bea, pick out pumpkins at the pumpkin sale and dance with costumed characters. Put on your best Halloween outfit and have a hoot at this free, all-ages event.

SCARECROW STROLL

Saturday and Sunday, 9 am – 6 pm, Art’s Nursery Garden and Home, Surrey

See 60+ Unique Scarecrows, get Photos in the Pop-up Pumpkin Patch, enjoy Weekend Live Music and Food Trucks, Scavenger Hunt and more!

THE HAUNTED SEA

Saturday & Sunday 10 am – 5 pm, The Gulf of Georgia Cannery, Steveston

Explore the darkest depths of the ocean in the transformed Herring Reduction Plant and encounter colourful creatures and aquatic displays, created made from upcycled materials, to learn about the plastic haunting our seas! Drop-in any time to explore at your leisure. Suitable for kids of all ages.

BRITANNIA MINE MUSEUM’S SPOOKTACULAR HALLOWEEN

Saturday & Sunday 10 am – 4 pm, Britannia Mine Museum

The theme is “treasures of the deep” for these Halloween festivities. Enjoy some spooky activities and search for hidden treasures as you tour the mine.

HALLOWEEN PUMPKIN EXPRESS

Saturday & Sunday 10 am – 4 pmBear Creek Park, Surrey

Enjoy the pumpkin express train, which is open now until Halloween. Each child who paid an admission will receive a treat to enjoy on the pumpkin express train as it travels through the decorated forest. When they leave, kids will get a small pumpkin. There is also a scary nighttime train for kids aged 12 yrs and up.

HARVEST DAYS

Celebrate the fall season at VanDusen Botanical Garden with Harvest Days! The veggie garden and maze area will be transformed for fall with fun photo areas, activities and entertainment, tasty treats and more. Visitors of all ages are welcome. Book a time slot online in advance.

DOWNTOWN POCO HARVEST FESTIVAL

Saturday, 11 am – 3 pm, Leigh Square Community Arts Village, Port Coquitlam

Fun and games, live music, beverage garden and BBQ, amazing vendors, pumpkins by donation and family photos by donation.

FRIGHT NIGHTS 

Saturday & Sunday, The PNE Fairgrounds

This is definitely one for the big kids who don’t mind when things get scary. Fright Nights at the PNE is a Halloween-themed experience with seven haunted houses, 15+ rides, creepy décor, roaming monsters and live performances.

SALMON COME HOME

Sunday, 11 am – 3 pm, Hoy Creek Hatchery Site, Coquitlam

Attendees can visit the fish hatchery, see salmon fry, view a salmon dissection and learn about returning species. Other activities include the popular Nylon Zoo with the salmon mascot and costume parade, arts and crafts, musical entertainment, five food trucks and an explore nature contest.

DIWALI DOWNTOWN VANCOUVER

Sunday, 2 pm – 5 pm, Roundhouse Community Centre

Enjoy live music and dance performances, South Asian Food Trucks, Rangoli, Henna and more fun!
