UBC APPLE FEST

A family event for all ages, UBC Apple Festival celebrates one of BC’s favourite fruits. From learning about the diversity of apples to tasting rare and unusual varieties, Apple Festival is a great opportunity to discover more about this delicious fruit.
CELEBRATE THE NIGHT

Celebrate the Night is a free, family-friendly event featuring dazzling light installations, lanterns, crafts, games, storytelling, a carousel, and a spectacular fireworks finale! Visitors can enjoy live entertainment, food trucks, costume contests, and interactive activities that bring the community together in a festive autumn atmosphere.
PLANETARIUM VIDLASER SHOWS
Saturday 7 pm, BCIT Planetarium, 3700 Willingdon Ave, Burnaby
Vancouver’s independent Planetarium Laser and Light Show creators since 1978 now feature our new improved VidLaser system. Fulldome 360 video projection, multiple RGB Lasers, and full concert surround sound. Catch the ‘Phantom of the Universe’ show at 7:10 pm.

UBC HOCKEY, SOCCER AND VOLLEYBALL GAMES
Saturday various game times, UBC Campus
This Saturday is a busy day for sports up at UBC! Women’s Hockey plays Alberta at 3 pm, the men play at 6 pm, those games happening at Doug Mitchell Arena. Women’s Soccer plays at 5 pm vs UVIC and men’s volleyball takes on Brandon at 4 pm and women’s volleyball at 6 pm with those games happening at War Memorial Gym.
