Monster Jam is an action-packed motorsport with world-class athletes locked in intense competitions of speed and skill. The fun begins at the Monster Jam Pit Party, where you can see the massive trucks up close, meet your favourite drivers and crews, get autographs and take pictures.
FESTIVAL DU BOIS
Saturday 11:30 am – 8 pm & Sunday 10 am – 5 pm, Mackin Park, Coquitlam
A festival full of lively music and dance featuring some of the finest artists from across the country in concerts and workshops. Listen to the music of Acadia in recognition of the 2024 Acadian Congress, dance to contra music, experience the wonder of crankies, visit the Métis Village Experience, have fun at special shows for kids, and revel in a wealth of francophone folk, world, roots and contemporary music – and so much more. On Sunday morning there is a pancake breakfast too!
RIVER BASIN DAYS: TREE TALES
Saturday 2 pm – 3 pm, Tynehead Regional Park, Surrey
Held on the second Saturday of every month, ‘River Basin Days’ is a series of outdoor public programs hosted by the Fraser River Discovery Centre, geared towards families. This month, head to Tynehead Regional Park, located in Surrey, to identify different trees found around the Fraser River, learn how to age a tree, and act out the lifecycle of a tree through an interactive story!
VANCOUVER MARITIME MUSEUM OPEN HOUSE
Saturday 11 am – 3 pm, Vancouver Maritime Museum
