HONDA CELEBRATION OF LIGHTS

The United Kingdom is performing for the final night of the Celebration of Lights!

BEAR-THDAY FUN-DRAISER

Saturday 9 am – 9 pm, Grouse Mountain

Grouse Mountain’s resident Grizzly bears are turning 23! To celebrate, Grinder and Coola are hosting the annual Bear-thday Fun-draiser, in partnership with the Grizzly Bear Foundation. The fun-filled celebration will feature exclusive Bear-thday activities and educational programs to raise awareness and funds for orphaned Grizzly cub rewilding. Included with mountain admission.

MAPLE RIDGE-PITT MEADOWS COUNTRY FEST

Saturday 10 am – 10:30 pm & Sunday 10 am – 6 pm, Albion Fairgrounds, Maple Ridge

Pony Rides, a 4H show, midway, lumberjack shows, marketplace, ag displays and more.

CARIBBEAN DAYS FESTIVAL

Saturday 10 am – 10 pm & Sunday 11 am – 7 pm, Town Centre Park, Coquitlam

Caribbean Days Festival features an amazing outdoor music festival. The main sound stage plays host to a lineup of bands playing Soca, Reggae, Calypso, Latin, African and other international sounds to a large crowd. Singers, dancers and other performers entertain with sights and sounds from a wide range of cultures.

HONEYBEE FESTIVAL

Saturday & Sunday 10 am – 4 pm, Honeybee Centre – 7480 176 Street, Surrey

Join for free family activities all weekend long in celebration of honeybees and our community. Watch live beekeeping demos, honey extraction, and bee beards. Enjoy crafts, games, and activities for kids.

SUMMERWEEN

Saturday 11 am – 10 pm & Sunday 11 am – 5 pm, PNE Playland

Summerween – the ultimate Halloween in July experience at Playland! The park will be transformed with fog, spooky music and ghoulish decor creating an eerie ambiance. This is for any guests who can’t wait for Fright Nights.

CHINATOWN MINI MARKET

Sunday 4 pm – 7 pm, Chinatown Memorial Plaza, 135-137 Keefer Street

Experience the best of Chinatown with live performances, music, a seniors mini market, delicious local food vendors, mahjong, and even a beyblade competition (bring your own, or try your hand with one from our beyblade master).

SLIP SLAP TRIP WACK

Saturday & Sunday 10 am – 4pm, Russian Hall, 600 Campbell Ave, Vancouver

A show for all ages. The family-friendly work brings to life the imaginative worlds of 8–12-year-olds, in a unique collaboration between the artists of Leaky Heaven and youth who live near the studio at the Russian Hall. The performance seats audience members on a 360-degree rotating device, which allows them to both watch and volunteer to perform in the sketches.
