HONDA CELEBRATION OF LIGHT

The fireworks festival is back! This annual week long festival goes on three nights, and this Saturday is the first with Japan competing. The fireworks take place on the water in English Bay and can be seen from many view points. English Bay itself is always a zoo, but head to Kits Point or even all along Jericho and Spanish Banks to catch some of the action. 10 pm is probably late for a lot of kids, but this one is worth staying up for!
MAPLE RIDGE-PITT MEADOWS COUNTRY FEST

Celebrate Indigenous cultures and fishing history at Welcoming the Sun. Focusing on the shared experiences of drumming and storytelling, this inclusive and uplifting celebration will include live performances, free admission to the Gulf of Georgia Cannery, enticing vendors, activities for the whole family, and more.
VANCOUVER POPS ORCHESTRA

Head out to McArthurGlen’s luxury plaza, where audience members will be transported to a magical Italian piazza, filled with the sounds of a full-piece orchestra directed by Maestro Tom Kuo. The orchestra will be performing popular favourites from Disney and Marvel to Nintendo!
