VANCOUVER CHINATOWN FESTIVAL
Saturday 11 am – 7 pm and Sunday 11 am – 5 pm, Vancouver China Town, 100 Keefer St
Attendees can enjoy a variety of activities including the Kid Zone with facepainting, balloon twisting, arts & crafts, as well as a photo booth, aquarium experience, live entertainment, giant mah jong tiles, day market and more!
BASTILLE DAY FESTIVAL OF VANCOUVER

SURREY LATIN FESTIVAL
Saturday 11 am – 10 pm and Sunday 11 am – 8 pm, Surrey Civic Plaza
This is a free event for the whole family, this year’s includes a great tribute to Frida Khalo, live music, Mexican and Latin food, activities for children, salsa classes and much more.
LYNN VALLEY DAYS
Saturday 10 am – 6 pm, Lynn Valley Park
A festival for neighbours to come together. Including a parade, inflatables, face painting, pancake breakfast and lunch, and lots of live entertainment and business booths.
VANCOUVER FOLK MUSIC FESTIVAL
Saturday and Sunday 5 pm – 11 pm, Jericho Beach
The Vancouver Folk Festival is a longstanding tradition down at Jericho (expect it to be extra hard to park around those beaches this weekend!). The festival is family friendly, with lots of different musical acts plus a Little Folks Village providing fun, interesting and creative things for the kids of all ages!
THE VANCOUVER OPEN: PRO VOLLEYBALL
Saturday and Sunday all day, Kitsilano Beach
Canada’s biggest beach volleyball event, the Vancouver Open is a pro volleyball tournament featuring Canada’s top beach teams. It promises amazing beach volleyball that is free to watch! Take the family down to cheer on the athletes, including Canadian Olympians, plus enjoy food trucks, music and a beer garden all down at Kits Beach.
PORT MOODY RIBFEST
Saturday and Sunday 11 am – 9 pm, Rocky Point Park, Port Moody
A free community festival at Rocky Point Park featuring live music, craft breweries, rib barbecue vendors and family-friendly entertainment.
UPTOWN LIVE
Saturday 12 pm – 9 pm, 6th Street and 6th Avenue New Westminster
a free music festival and street party with live music, market vendors and family-friendly fun in New Westminster.
CEDAR, SAGE AND SWEET GRASS
Saturday and Sunday 12 pm – 5 pm, Museum of Surrey
Enjoy two days of Indigenous food, art, crafts and performances. Explore Indigenous drawing, painting, beading, woodworking, carving and silver smithing. The entire weekend, the museum will feature Indigenous food, art and performances.
VICTORIAN LIFE: OLD FASHIONED GAMES
Saturday and Sunday 12 pm – 4:30 pm, Historic Stewart Farm, Surrey
Play croquet, throw horseshoes or compete against your family in a potato sack race! Complete with farmhouse tours and riverside grounds to stroll, it’s a perfect free summer activity for the whole family.
SYMPHONY IN THE PARK

MOUNT PLEASANT PARK FESTIVAL
Saturday 6 pm – 8 pm, Mount Pleasant Community Centre
