Come and get creative with a day of art making and fun. Kids First is an opportunity for families of all kinds to create an in-house art project based on the exhibitions being shown in the Gallery. The projects are geared towards children ranging in age from 5 to 12 years old.
STAR WARS FOR KIDS
Sunday 1 pm, Orpheum
From 1 pm – 1:50 pm you can try out instruments, learn through games with playful characters and get in the mood for the music at the VSO School’s interactive playzone, in the Orpheum lobby before each concert. Then at 2 pm enjoy a 60 minute performance of the legendary music of John Williams from Star Wars.
UBC BOTANICAL GARDEN LUNAR NEW YEAR MARKET

Come celebrate the year of the dragon with over 30 local makers, artists, crafters and food trucks. There will be an exciting lion dance and kung fu performance plus workshops on how to make sweet dumpling desserts and more.
