The fair is back! This end of summer tradition has amazing attractions for the whole family including The SuperDogs, Knights of Valour jousting show, The Flying Fools High Dive Show, Dueling Pianos, an immersive Monet art exhibit, agriculture displays, a massive midway and games and much more. We try to never miss it!
RICHMOND GARLIC FEST
Sunday 10 am – 3 pm, Sharing Farm 2771 Westminster Hwy, Richmond
Spend the day enjoying live music, shopping for local goods and produce, observing raptor demonstrations, playing in the kids zone, savouring yummy foods and taking part it various free workshops.
COLUMBIA ST FESTIVAL – NEW WEST PRIDE
Saturday 3 pm – 8 pm, Blocks 8th-4th, Columbia St. New Westminster
Pride week in New Westminster wraps with this fun festival taking place along Columbia Street.
RIBFEST LANGLEY
Saturday & Sunday 11 am – 9 pm, McLeod Park, Langley
Ribfest Langley is a free family-friendly festival that’s hosted by area Rotary clubs and features live music, BBQ-ed ribs and craft beer. In addition to barbecued ribs, other foods for sale included vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, as well as fried potatoes, mini doughnuts, ice cream, corn on the cob and berry pies. You can expect to see live bands and dance groups performing most of the day, and children having fun in the Kids’ Zone.
IRISH FUSION FESTIVAL
Saturday 10 am – 10 pm, 80 Pacific Boulevard, Vancouver
A family friendly festival will showcase a fusion of culture with live music over 2 stages, Irish dancing, pony rides, a dunk tank, food trucks, a beer and cider station, plus plenty more! Kids 12 and under get in free.
THE BIG BOUNCE CANADA
Saturday & Sunday, Cloverdale Fairgrounds, Surrey
This thing looks wild! The Big Bounce Canada is the largest touring inflatable event in the world and it features the Guinness-certified world record holder of The World’s Biggest Bouncy Castle. This is not your usual bouncy castle….and its for kids and adults.
