PUMPKINS AFTER DARK
Saturday – Monday 6 pm – 11 pm, Swanguard Stadium, Burnaby
Explore the magical pathway of lit pumpkin sculptures and displays, with music, sounds and special effects. With classic Halloween characters, dinosaurs and dragons, movie and pop culture icons.
CRANBERRY FESTIVAL
Saturday 10 am – 5 pm, Fort Langley National Historic Site
Celebrate the cranberry harvest where traditions meet history! While the village of Fort Langley fills the streets with music, food, and vendors, step inside the walls of Fort Langley National Historic Site for a celebration with a historic twist. Discover the role this small but mighty berry played in the trade and daily life in the 19th century. Through engaging talks, demonstrations, and lively storytelling with our interpreters, you’ll learn, explore, and have fun while connecting with the heritage of this iconic fruit. Try cranberry stomping, enjoy a scavenger hunt and check out the blacksmith demonstrations.
2025 SCARECROW SHOWCASE
Saturday – Monday 10 am – 4:30 pm, Fort Langley National Historic Site
Also happening at Fort Langley National Historic Site, but available all weekend long. In partnership with local community groups, there are scattered quirky, creative, and downright fun scarecrows all around the site. Explore the fort, snap some photos, join the scavenger hunt, and don’t forget to vote for your favourite—onsite or online! The winner will be revealed on November 1, 2025.
RIVER BASIN DAYS: FERNS AND NATURE ART
Saturday 2 pm – 3 pm, Glenbrook Ravine Park, New Westminster
River Basin Days is a series of outdoor public programs for families. Join at Glenbrook Ravine Park in New Westminster to learn more about this park, observe native plants, make nature art, and play nature inspired games!
AMERICAN CROWN CIRCUS AND CIRCO OSORIO
shows Saturday – Monday, Lansdowne Centre, Richmond
An International Showcase of Talent from Mexico, Belarus, Russia, Argentina, Romania and the US, the American Crown Circus & Circo Osorio heads to Canada to spread some “Big Top Magic” throughout the Canada Tour. This unique circus was designed with the family audience in mind. Children and adults will be captivated as aerial artistry unfolds, motorcycles madness, acrobats defying the law of gravity inches from their seats.
THE MAZE OF MONSTERS
Saturday – Monday 12 pm – 9 pm, Guildford Town Centre, Surrey
This interactive, family-friendly haunted maze features animatronics, eerie low-light thrills, and mysterious characters around every corner. The experience lasts approximately 2 minutes—perfect for a quick fright! (Little boos and ghouls under 5 may find it a little too spooky.) This is free!
2025 GRANVILLE ISLAND TURKEY TROT
Monday 8: 30 am, Granville Island Sea Wall
The Granville Island Turkey Trot is a hallmark event for Granville Island and the Vancouver run community. The annual event brings together runners in a celebration of Thanksgiving, demonstrating our community of running, our gratitude for the sport, and our commitment to supporting others. There is a 1 km kids run that starts at 8:50 am
