VANCOUVER POOLS OPENING WEEKEND
All weekend long, Second Beach & New Brighton Pool
Kits Pool’s opening has been delayed unfortunately, but you can enjoy the opening weekend of Second Beach Pool and New Brighton. And the Vancouver splash pads will be turned on this weekend, including the awesome water park and slide at Granville Island!
COLOUR FEST
Saturday 5 pm, Town Centre Park, Coquitlam
Colour Fest is a celebration of the Spring festivals Holi and Vaisakhi. This multi-dimensional festival features vibrant music and dance performances by South Asian artists and a live Colour Zone where participants cover each other in coloured powder. Families can also participate in Vaisakhi and Holi themed art activities. Food Trucks will be on site serving delicious treats!
MAY DAY FORT LANGLEY

Celebrate the 102nd annual May Day in historic Fort Langley. The Fort Langley Lion’s are excited to host the May Day Parade followed by a Family Fun Festival in the Park. This free community event was established in 1922. It brings together local musical talent, community members & vendors to the Fort.
ALL BRITISH CLASSIC CAR SHOW
Saturday 10 am – 4:30 pm, Van Dusen gardens
An entertaining gathering of British-built classic cars, exhibitors and vendors will be on display at the Great Lawn. Expect to see around 500 cars.
BURNABY VILLAGE MUSEUM MAY LONG
Monday 11 am – 4:30 pm, Burnaby Village Museum
Explore historical exhibits and live demonstrations including seeing and smelling coffee beans ground by hand at the Burnaby Lake General Store. Play Mahjong, a Chinese game of strategy, skill, and summation at the Way Sang Yuen Wat Kee herbalist shop. Watch the blacksmith heat and hammer metal objects in Wagner’s Blacksmith Shop. Plus enjoy a scavenger hunt, crafts and more.
ENGINE 374 ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

CPR Engine 374 pulled into the Vancouver terminal for the first time 137 years ago, becoming the first scheduled passenger train & Trans Canadian Train into Vancouver. Join community members and The volunteer Staff of Engine 374 as she makes her annual trip out onto the Roundhouse Turntable, and celebrates with free birthday cake, fun & other activities, speeches, and a brass band.
PAW PATROL LIVE: HEROES UNITE
