VANCOUVER AQUARIUM SCUBA BUNNY
April 1-10, the Vancouver Aquarium
Maybe you’ve visited Scuba Santa there before but now, for the first time ever, see Scuba Bunny swimming among colourful fish and other aquatic creatures on his daily dives at 1 pm. You can also participate in a Sea Search Scavenger hunt. Follow the trail of blue eggs and answer trivia questions on your quest to win a prize.

The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation is putting on a number of programs and activities to enjoy to celebrate Easter and spring. There is something going on all weekend long across all of Vancouver’s community centres. From egg hunts, to crafts, to bouncy castles, head to the link to find out what’s going on at your local community centre. Some events do require pre-registration.
THE BIG EASTER RUN
12 pm Saturday, Jericho Beach Park
You can do a 5 km or 10 km run or walk, strollers are welcome. But there is also a 1 km race for younger kids too. Little ones taking part are also invited to take part in an egg hunt at 1 pm. And to complete the festive atmosphere, the Big Bunny Run will feature a live DJ, prize giveaways, vendors, and more.
EASTER AT THE CANNERY
Friday-Sunday 10:30 am – 4:30 pm, The Gulf of Georgia Cannery, Steveston
A fun-filled family friendly weekend featuring crafts, story time, games, and of course, the annual Easter Salmon Scavenger Hunt! All inside the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site.
EASTER PARADE IN LADNER
Sunday 1 pm, Delta Street, Ladner
The parade begins at 1 p.m. at the Historic Delta Municipal Hall and Ladner Community Police Station and proceeds down Delta Street to an Easter egg hunt at Memorial Park. Don’t forget to wear your bunny ears and decorate your bike, wagon or stroller. This is a free family event.
EASTER EGG HUNT AND TRAIN RIDE
Friday – Monday 10 am – 6 pm, Bear Creek Park, Surrey
Meet the Easter bunny, do an egg hunt, take the train ride, petting zoo, games, arts and crafts and more.
EASTER EGG HUNT AT MEADOWS FAMILY FARM
Friday – Monday 10 am – 5 pm, 12377 248th Street, Maple Ridge
All day Easter egg hunts, face painting, crafts, baby farm animals, bunny burrow maze, pictures with the Easter Bunny, train rides, playground and more!
EASTER AT ALDOR ACRES FARM
Friday – Monday 9 am – 4 pm, Aldor Acres Farm, Langley
Come celebrate the arrival of spring and new life! Join us for a hayride around the farm, take a stroll through the Back 40, learn about agriculture, visit our many farm animals, see the fields prepped for planting and more.
EASTER AT LOFT COUNTRY FARMS
Friday – Monday, Loft Country Farms, Langley
An Easter egg hunt, pony rides, petting zoo, horse and tractor rides, fun zone and more! This is a great family farm to hit up with the kids.
EASTERFEST AT TAVES FARM
Friday – Sunday 9:15 am – 4 pm, 333 Gladwin Rd, Abbotsford
Bring out the family and take a hay ride around the farm and embark on an egg hunt! Pet the goats and bunnies, see our donkey, alpaca, turkey, chickens, geese, sheep, and pig, ride the pedal karts, bounce on the jumping pillows, and have some sliding good fun!
BABY ANIMAL EASTER DAYS AT MAAN FARMS
Friday – Monday, 790 McKenzie Rd, Abbotsford
Spend Easter Weekend snuggling baby animals, trying some Egg-cellent Ice Cream, and gallivanting with the Easter Bunny. Don’t forget to hunt for the Golden Egg to win the grand prize!
EASTER AT GREENDALE ACRES
Friday – Sunday 9 am – 4 pm, Greendale Acres Farm, Chilliwack
