VANCOUVER PRIDE PARADE AND FESTIVAL

Come show your pride at one of the largest Pride Parades in Canada! The Pride Paradehas over 100 parade entries, there will lots of amazing floats you won’t want to miss. The parade will begin at 12 pm on Sunday at the intersection of Davie Street and Denman, and will proceed down Beach Avenue and Pacific Street, where it will end at the new festival site at Concord Community Park. VanPrideFest is a FREE two-day outdoor festival at Concord Pacific Place on Pride Weekend!Don’t miss fierce headlining acts, Coco & Breezy, Madison Rose, Prado Monroe and Fefe Dobson at the TD Main Stage as well as your favourite local artists.
MAPLE GROVE FAMILY DAY
Sunday 1:30 pm – 4 pm, Maple Grove Pool, Vancouver
Free entrance to this event with paid pool admission. Enjoy balloon art, face painting, fire truck visit, games, activities and musical entertainment
CARNIVAL DAY

POWELL STREET FESTIVAL
Saturday & Sunday 11:30 am – 7 pm, Oppenheimer Park, Vancouver
Canada’s largest celebration of Japanese Canadian arts & culture held in Vancouver’s historic Japanese Canadian neighbourhood. A full array of programming over the weekend including live music, dance and theatre performances on multiple stages, delicious Japanese food, martial arts demonstrations, children’s programming, community booths, a sumo tournament, and our annual lottery.
MAPLE RIDGE CARIBBEAN FESTIVAL

TSAWWASSEN SUN FESTIVAL
Saturday – Monday, various locations in South Delta
The Tsawwassen Sun Festival is a three-day celebration of fun in the sun, jam packed with special events, games, friendly competitions and many other attractions. There’s an Outdoor Summer Movie Night at the Tsawwassen Town Centre Mall, while most events take place at Winskill Park. And don’t miss the annual Rotary Parade which heads down 56th Street from 16th Avenue to Winskill Park (Monday at 11 am)
RICHMOND SUNFLOWER FESTIVAL
Saturday – Monday 10 am – 8 pm, Richmond Country Farms, Steveston Hwy
The Richmond Sunflower Festival is in full bloom with over 90 varieties of Sunflowers, Dahlias and Gladiolas on over 20 acres of farmland! This is a great place to bring the family to explore, take some wonderful photos, ride the little train, enjoy a snack and more.
WHITE ROCK SEA FESTIVAL AND SEMIAHMOO DAYS

The 72nd annual White Rock Sea Festival and Semiahmoo Days offers free family-fun and entertainment for all ages. Live music, kids zone, sand sculptures, bbq, and fireworks on Saturday night at 10:15 pm.

SQUAMISH DAYS LOGGERS SPORTS FESTIVAL

Squamish Days is full of fun, excitement, action, and entertainment for the whole family! There is music, children’s activities, a kettle boil, a parade, wacky bed races, chainsaw chair carving, pancake breakfast, two world class Loggers Sports Shows, and so much more. Always a family favourite, the Squamish Days parade will begin at 11:00 am on Sunday.
BRIGADE DAYS
Saturday – Monday 10 am – 5 pm, Fort Langley National Historic Site
Experience British Columbia’s early culture at Fort Langley’s Brigade Days. Meet fascinating characters demonstrating 19th century skills, listen to music and smell what’s cooking as you walk through the encampment. Fun for all ages. Highlights include collecting trading cards from the different re-enactors (kids can even create their own!), a visit to the Washer Women’s laundry camp, and the Fur Trade Fashion Show.
VANCOUVER STREET DANCE FESTIVAL
Sunday 10:30 am – 5 pm, Robson Square, downtown Vancouver
An all-out, full-day extravaganza of street dance battles, mind-blowin’ showcase performances, live music that’ll make your speakers bump, and a whole lotta love for our vibrant, diverse street dance culture in Vancity!
From Breakin’ to Poppin’, Lockin’ to Waackin’, Hip Hop to House. This is a free event.
