Visit Mackin House for Halloween crafts, candy, face painting, and get a chance to check out our decorated train caboose.
SPOOKTACULAR NEWTON
Saturday 11 am – 4 pm, 137 Street between 72 A and 74 Ave, Surrey
Spooktacular Newton returns this year for another spook-filled day. Prepare for a day of activities, trick-or-treating, and entertainment! And we’re giving away 1000 pumpkins, by donation to Surrey Food Bank, grab yours on the way out!
HOCUS POCUS IN CONERT LIVE TO FILM
Saturday 7 pm, Orpheum Theatre, Vancouver
An all-time favourite Halloween film can be enjoyed with live music performed by the VSO.
BRITANNIA MINE MUSEUM’S DAY OF THE DEAD
Saturday & Sunday 10 am – 3 pm, Britannia Mine Museum, Britannia Beach
This Halloween, step into a celebration unlike any other at Britannia Mine Museum —a joyful and meaningful Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration that brings together history, art, and storytelling in a family-friendly atmosphere. Rooted in the rich traditions of Mexican culture, this special event honours the past and celebrates the present through an immersive underground tour, colourful displays and interactive experiences for all ages.
TRICK OR TREAT DUNBAR VILLAGE
Saturday 3 pm – 5 pm, Dunbar Village, Vancouver
Taking place in all three areas of Dunbar Village, come out from 3-5pm to trick-or-treat in a toddler-friendly environment.
HOWL-O-WEEN ON WEST BROADWAY
Saturday 1 pm – 4 pm, West Broadway between Collingwood and Larch
Take your kids and pets trick-or-treating. Pick up a Free treat bag and map of participating locations and visit over 70 merchants.
HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR
Sunday 11 am – 5 pm, Kids Market, Granville Island
Have fun at this annual Halloween event. Get a spooky design painted on your face and enjoy a photo op to remember the day. Trick or treat around the market and enjoy live entertainment!
SALMON COME HOME
Sunday 11 am – 3 pm, Hoy Creek Hatchery Site, Coquitlam
Celebrate local salmon-spawning creeks and salmon at this annual event. At this year’s event you can visit the fish hatchery, see salmon fry, view a salmon dissection and learn about what salmon species are returning this year. There will be stream-side live salmon showing and talks, hatchery tours, a watershed walk, musical entertainment, interactive children’s activities,; food, educational exhibits, and more.
MUSICAL MAGIC: DISNEY EDITION
Sunday 3 pm, Chan Centre for the Performing Arts, UBC
Six talented vocalists perform beloved Disney songs from movies like Frozen, Aladdin, and Moana in this family-friendly concert event with audience sing-alongs and costumes.
