PNE FAIR

Saturday – Monday, 11 am – 11 pm, PNE Fairgrounds

This weekend marks the final days of the PNE Fair, so don’t miss your chance to visit! Bring your friends and family out to our various attractions and entertainment including The SuperDogs, Dueling Pianos, agriculture displays, the drag show For the Love of Drag, cooking demonstrations, musical performances at Music in the Park, exhibits, and, of course, Summer Night Concerts!

VAN DUSEN 50 YEAR CELEBRATION

Saturday 10 am – 5 pm, Van Dusen Garden, Vancouver

The Garden will come alive with entertainment, activities and crafts, food vendors, and community connections that honour our roots and look ahead to a blooming future. Stroll through 55 acres of vibrant plant collections, take a historic tour from our dedicated Garden Guides, and get inspired by hands-on educational and art programming for all ages. Stop by the Visitor Centre halls to learn from local horticultural societies, and watch live performances on the Great Lawn.

NIKKEI MATSURI FESTIVAL

Saturday & Sunday 11 am – 7 pm, Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre, Burnaby

Nikkei Matsuri is one of the many ways the Nikkei National Museum & Cultural Centre (NNMCC) is working to fulfil its mission to honour, preserve and share the history and heritage of Japanese Canadians and Japanese culture in Canada. Enjoy live performances, kids arts and crafts, a Japanese market, games, and delicious food and drinks.

SERBIAN DAYS 2025

Saturday & Sunday 12 pm – 8 pm, Saint Sava Church, Vancouver

Enjoy a weekend of cultural performances, live music, fun activities, delicious food and much more! Come and “Experience Serbia”, by smell, taste, sight and sound!

CARNAVALITO ON THE ROAD

Saturday 12 pm – 9 pm, Douglas Park, 206 Street Langley

Come join for a wild and colourful celebration in Langley! Get ready for a day filled with music, dance, and delicious food. Let’s bring the spirit of Carnaval to the streets and dance the day away. Explore six themed plazas, each offering a unique experience.

RICHMOND SUNFLOWER FESTIVAL

Saturday – Monday 10 am – 7 pm, Richmond Country Farms, 12900 Steveston Hwy, Richmond

The annual Richmond Sunflower Festival features over 20 sunflower varieties, from towering giants to ornamental favourites, the festival offers a vibrant and joyful outdoor experience for all ages, running until mid-September. Guests can stroll through expansive walking paths designed for easy exploration, discover charming photo spots throughout the fields, and enjoy the scenery without the crowds. Beyond the blooms, the festival showcases a curated selection of local food trucks and vendors offering cold drinks, sweet treats, and picnic-ready meals.

LABOUR DAY AT THE BURNABY VILLAGE MUSEUM

Monday 11 am – 4:30 pm, Burnaby Village Museum

Celebrate the last day of the summer season with a fun filled day of free carousel rides and learning about labour history. Uncover fascinating stories behind the labour movement in British Columbia and the 100+ years of CUPE at the City of Burnaby. Take part in a special themed scavenger hunt, demonstrations, live music, special displays and hands on activities.

METRO VANCOUVER LABOUR DAY CELEBRATION

Monday 11 am – 2:30 pm, Edmonds Park, Burnaby

This is a free, fun, family friendly celebration. There will be exciting speakers (starting at 11:00am), bouncy castles, games and entertainment for kids, live music by LJ Mounteney, free food and treats, union and community organization booths, and more!

SUMMER SEND OFF FESTIVAL

Saturday-Monday 10 am – 9 pm (6 pm on Monday), Greendale Acres Farm, Chilliwack

Say goodbye to summer with a weekend full of farm fun, live music, games, and sunshine at Greendale Acres! The Summer Send Off is the ultimate way to celebrate the final days of summer break — a joyful blend of community and carefree fun. Get in on the action with sack races, freezie-eating contests, and classic farm games, then cool off with face painting and a cold drink in the licensed area. As the sun sets, grab a blanket and soak in unforgettable live performances under the stars.
