SCOTFEST BC: BC HIGHLAND GAMES

These traditional Scottish Highland Games welcomes everyone to enjoy the best in piping, drumming, pipe bands, highland dancing, the REMAX Scottish Heavy Events, whisky school, kids activities and a lot more. All taking place in Town Centre Park in Coquitlam along the shores of Lafarge Lake.
LYNN VALLEY DAYS

Local community groups and businesses showcase their work in booths around the field. There are lots of games to be played and prizes to be won. Enjoy games and large inflatable bouncy toys for the kids, maypole dancing, face painting, a pancake breakfast, parade and live entertainment.
18TH ANNUAL TEDDY BEAR PICNIC
Saturday 11 am – 2pm, St. Andrew’s Park, North Vancouver
This beloved, free community tradition returns to St. Andrew’s Park (11th St. E, behind the church). Enjoy a live performance of puppetry and ventriloquism by Kellie Haines, whimsical face-painting by Looking Glass and laughs from clowns Dilly & Donna. Don’t miss the always-popular Teddy Bear Clinic, cookie decorating station, storytelling, arts and crafts, and our concession stand with hot dogs and sodas!
HILLCREST SUMMER FESTIVAL

THE 2025 CONCORD PACIFIC DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL

Start off summer at with the continent’s biggest dragon boat race; the TD Main Stage’s 100% local lineup with top-notch headliners; the new and expanded Concord Community Stage; cultural pavilions; the city’s biggest outdoor local craft vendor market, food truck festival, and outdoor waterfront patio; and pop-up surprise performances.
INDIGENOUS PEOPLE’S DAY CELEBRATION

Indigenous People’s Day is a celebration of the unique heritage, diverse culture and outstanding achievements of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples in Canada. Everyone is welcome for a full day of storytelling, dancing, drumming, art exhibits, crafts, food and more traditional activities. There are also celebrations taking place in Surrey, Vancouver, New Westminster and Port Moody.
ANNUAL SCANDINAVIAN MIDSUMMER FESTIVAL

Enjoy full days of live music with the a number of individual artists, groups and choirs. There will be performances by the Scandinavian Dancers and the Vikings in the Viking Village, including songs, games and a real Viking raid – beware of the Norse! At the Midsummer Marketplace, you find over 50 vendors with shopping kiosks with lots of exciting products and crafts. GREEK DAY ON BROADWAY

A five block stretch on West Broadway, measuring almost one kilometer is closed off to traffic to make room for a world of delicious Greek food and drink, market vendors, entertainment and live music offering a laid back, yet lively Greek atmosphere.
